Join us at the BIO International Convention 2026 in San Diego from June 22–25, where more than 20,000 global biotechnology and pharmaceutical leaders will gather to shape the future of life sciences. Life Science Tennessee is proud to use this opportunity to showcase Tennessee companies, resources, and regional advantages while presenting a unified front that reflects the collaborative ecosystem we have built across the state. Throughout the week, we will highlight local innovation through our pavilion on the expo floor, while also hosting a Tennessee reception and a dedicated Red Carpet Day. Join us in representing Tennessee and helping tell the story of a dynamic, fast-growing life sciences community.
Tennessee Pavillion – Booth #3117
The Tennessee Pavilion will bring together leading life science companies, researchers, and academic organizations with operations across the state to showcase Tennessee’s growing innovation ecosystem at one of the world’s largest global life sciences conventions. Our goal is to foster meaningful connections with biotechnology companies from around the world that are exploring opportunities to do business in Tennessee.
Through both the Pavilion and our signature Tennessee Reception, we will highlight the state’s strengths, resources, and competitive advantages—presenting a unified, collaborative front that reflects the dynamic and connected life sciences community we have built in Tennessee.
Tennessee Red Carpet Day- Wednesday, June 24, 2026
Tennessee Red Carpet Day is an all-day, concierge-style activation hosted by Life Science Tennessee in the Tennessee Pavilion at the BIO International Convention in San Diego. Designed to roll out the red carpet for life science companies across the globe exploring growth, partnerships, or expansion, this special event brings together Tennessee’s top life science leaders in one place, for one day, with one simple goal: to say yes and help companies move forward.
Following Tennessee Red Carpet Day, we will have our Tennessee Reception from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in the Gaslamp District in San Diego. More details coming soon!

In partnership with Launch Tennessee, Life Science Tennessee is offering several sponsorships for Tennessee College and University representatives to join us at BIO
Selected participants will represent Tennessee within the state’s official pavilion and take part in the inaugural Tennessee Red Carpet Day. This opportunity offers a unique platform to showcase your work, schedule and attend meetings, and connect with global partners, investors, and commercialization leaders.
Recipients will receive a $2,000 travel stipend, expo pass, access to Tennessee Red Carpet Day, and use of a dedicated presentation and meeting space within the Tennessee Pavilion. All recipients must attend a virtual information session about the conference before the trip.
While applicants from all Tennessee colleges and universities are encouraged to apply, priority consideration will be given to University of Memphis, Tennessee Tech University, East Tennessee State University, Middle Tennessee State University, Tennessee State University, and Meharry Medical College.
The application deadline is April 28. Responses will be shared by April 30.
