The Life Science TN Ecosystem Map tracks life science organizations with operations in the Volunteer State across disciplines and markets. The Ecosystem Map is meant to be a resource that shows both the breadth and depth of the industry.

The Ecosystem Map is a joint project of Life Science Tennessee, the Life Science Tennessee Foundation, and BioHub Nash. The project is funded in part with a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

1. What does the Life Science Tennessee Ecosystem Map do?

The Ecosystem Map is a one-stop shop for the life science industry in the Volunteer State. The industry spans manufacturing, services, and research activities and includes companies in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, biomedical technologies, life systems technologies, nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals, food processing, environmental biology and biomedical devices. It also includes organizations and institutions that devote their efforts to various stages of research, development, technology transfer and commercialization.

2. Who is this for?

This site is for anyone interested in learning more about and connecting with Tennessee’s vibrant and growing life science ecosystem.

3. Something is missing, can I add it?

Absolutely! You can add your organization by completing the survey here. If you need to edit or change organizational details, please email Danielle at [email protected] with the corrected information. Admin will review all data before it is live, so it may take up to three weeks to see changes appear.

4. Is this site free to use?

Yes! This site is a free resource managed by Life Science Tennessee, the Life Science Tennessee Foundation, and BioHub Nash. Completing the survey and viewing the data is completely free.
