Memphis Biz Journal: Construction underway on $22M research lab at UT-Bioworks

Researchers and biotechnology companies will soon enjoy a new lab space as construction has begun on the new $22 million research laboratory at UT-Bioworks Research Park.
The Commercial Appeal reports the site has been cleared, and the foundation for the 26,000-square-foot building is being poured. The building has an anticipated opening date of spring 2013. Memphis Specialized Operations will run the lab and employ 20 to 30 people
